Tomb of Pedro Duque CornejoTomb of Pedro Duque Cornejo, Córdoba Cathedral. The inscription reads “Here lies Don Pedro Duque Cornejo, sculptor to our lady the Queen. A man of singular goodness and simplicity, a famous professor of architecture, painting, and sculpture, he made the choir stalls of this holy church, which he finished with his life in the year 1757, at 80 years of age. Resquiescat in pace.”
